Born in rural Missouri, Ashli now resides in New York City working as a freelance photographer while attending graduate school at the School of Visual Arts. She was recently a resident artist at the Soulard Art Market and Contemporary Gallery, where she hosted and attended shows with the other members of the gallery. When not shooting in the states, Ashli is traveling. At 26 countries, she has become an experienced backpacker. Although currently focused on attending graduate school, her ultimate goal is to become a successful artist and possibly educator in the field of photography.

Ashli Brooke Photography - Freelance Photographer
Portrait, wedding, and travel photographer that also designs and sells travel photography books such as Namaste, India and Ethiopia & Tanzania.
Work Experience
Assistant at Wesley Law Photography
After completing a summer internship, I was hired as his assistant in charge of shoot preperations, tending to the clients and models, and anything that assured the shoot would run smoothly. During shoots, I was in charge of lighting set ups and equipment manager. I also managed the inventory database, as well as some invoices/receipts and other paperwork.
Resident Artist at Soulard Art Gallery
Located in the Soulard Art District of St. Louis, Missouri, a panel of established fellow resident artists elected me as a resident to join them in hosting, organizing, and hanging exhibits - as well as working the front desk and having my own private room of my work.
Started an art program for children ranging from 3 years of age to 12 years. The beginning of the program was focused point and shoot digital cameras that each child received and was allowed to take home. After the digital photography section was completed, I hosted, printed, and organized an exhibit for students to show their parents their work.
